THE SEASON PROBLEM

Spring doesn't wait for you to do paperwork.

You've got twelve weeks to make the year. Every evening spent on estimates is a lot you didn't cut.

Mowing and hardscaping estimated the same way

A weekly mow and a full redesign of the same lot aren't remotely the same job — but both end up as a number you invented at the curb with the engine running.

The slope you didn't charge for

The back was steeper than it looked and the debris filled the trailer twice. That's an afternoon of margin you gave away because it never made it into the estimate.

Recurring accounts estimated as one-offs

The whole business is repeat work. Yet every estimate goes out as a single job, and the “want it every two weeks?” conversation never quite happens.

Tree removal creeping into a trim job

You estimated trimming. They heard removal. Stump grinding was apparently implied. Now it's your problem, your saw and your Saturday.

HOW IT ESTIMATES LANDSCAPING

Describe the property. Get a priced estimate for the actual work.

Paganki prices landscaping against lot size — and knows a mow and a hardscape are different animals.

Step 1

Talk about the lot

“Full-service, ~10,000 sq ft lot, six beds, four trees to trim, irrigation check, haul debris, steep grade at the back.” AI detects landscaping and pulls the lot size, the service type — mowing, design, tree trimming, garden maintenance, hardscaping, irrigation or full-service — plus frequency, tree count, bed count, debris removal, irrigation work and slope.

Step 2

Rules run the numbers

Landscaping prices per square foot of lot: about $0.06, $0.12 and $0.22 across the three default tiers, with an $85 minimum. The service type adds a set percentage (design ~40%, full-service ~50%, hardscaping ~60%), debris removal ~15% and a slope ~20% — each on its own line you can edit. Deterministic rules — the AI never picks a price. Set your own rates in Settings → Rates.

Step 3

Turn the one-off into an account

Mention how often and the estimate includes a recurring discount line — about 15% weekly, 10% bi-weekly, 5% monthly on the defaults. AI writes the scope and holds the line on exclusions: tree removal and stump grinding, hardscape construction, irrigation installation and permits stay out unless you put them in. Accepted estimates become invoices in one click.

AI reads the job and writes the document. Rules do the math from your rates plus standard adjustments — the AI never sets a price.

Customers sign the quote on their phone, pay the deposit before you leave, and can save their card so the balance is charged when the job is done. How it works
WHAT LANDSCAPERS GET

From curbside estimate to a route that bills itself

Estimate fast in season, bill automatically all year, and stop giving away the extras.

Recurring routes on autopilot

Weekly and bi-weekly accounts invoice themselves on schedule, at the amount you agreed. Your route bills whether or not you remember it.

Budget, recommended, premium

The same job at budget, recommended and premium rates; service type, debris removal and slope are added to all three. You choose the one to send. Switch or edit it before it goes out.

Exclusions that hold up

Tree removal, stump grinding, hardscape construction, irrigation install, permits — written into every estimate in plain language, so “while you're here” has a price.

One click from yes to invoice

The accepted estimate becomes an invoice with the same line items. Nothing re-typed at the kitchen table after dark.

Estimate in five languages

English, Spanish, German, French, Italian — same rate card, their language. Which matters more in this trade than most.

Paid before you're home

Customers pay from a 24/7 portal on their phone and you get an email and in-app alert when it clears. Stripe's standard processing fee for your country applies; no platform fee from us.

AI estimating, AI warranties and recurring billing are included in every plan. AI estimates have a monthly allowance — 3 on Freelancer (which also covers 3 invoices a month), 5 on Starter, 15 on Pro, 50 on Scale — shared with AI-written reminders if you turn those on. No add-on fees, no per-estimate charges.

Landscaping estimates, answered

Per square foot of lot, with the service type, debris removal and slope adding set percentages. The default rate card is roughly $0.06 (budget), $0.12 (recommended) and $0.22 (premium) per square foot with an $85 minimum — and you replace those with your own rates in Settings → Rates. Rules do the math, not the AI.
Both. The AI identifies the service type — mowing, design, tree trimming, garden maintenance, hardscaping, irrigation or full-service — and for recurring work the estimate includes a frequency discount (weekly ~15%, bi-weekly ~10%, monthly ~5%). Once they agree, set up a recurring schedule and it invoices the agreed amount automatically.
Yes. Landscaping estimates carry the trade's standard exclusions — tree removal and stump grinding, hardscape construction, irrigation installation and permits — written in plain language. Edit them or add your own before sending.
Plans start at $5.99/mo, billed at signup; that plan includes 3 AI estimates and 3 invoices a month, and higher plans include more. Paganki adds no platform transaction fee. Stripe processing fees apply and vary by payment method and region.
